How Do I Register?

Crew is a club sport, not one that is run by the Pine-Richland School District, so our registration requirements are somewhat different than the traditional sports.  To register, you must register here on the PR Crew website AND within the PR Healthy Roster app. All required documents must be complete in the Healthy Roster app AND the crew-specific waivers must be received before any rower can participate in practice.

Registering on the PR Crew Website:

When registration is open, a Register Online button will be available on the home page. Register for the appropriate team (high school or middle school).

If you are a NEW rower, you will also need to complete a Swim TestSwim Waiver (see more information below) AND Registration Packet.  These can be emailed to   or mailed to Pine Richland Crew, Attn: Registration, PO Box 170, Gibsonia, PA 15044.  Paperwork should not be given to coaches.

If you have questions about registration, please contact the Student Director at

PRSD Healthy Roster App:

Complete your athlete’s profile and upload all required documents to the Healthy Roster app for PRSD.  This is where all of the medical information, physicals and other waivers are being kept.  Information here:  https://www.pinerichland.org/Domain/1238.

If you have questions about the Healthy Roster app, they should be directed to one of the PRSD Licensed Athletic Trainers. You can contact them by sending a message via the Healthy Roster app once your account is set up OR by calling the athletic training office at 724-625-4444 ext 6825. *Please allow 1-3 business days for responses.

Swim Tests vs. Swim Waivers

In the sport of crew, participants are in rowing shells on either rivers or reserviors.  It is very important that all partipcants can swim, in the event that their shell flips.  The club organizes a "swim test" prior to each fall season, during which a certified lifeguard will observe and testify whether or not participants can pass the test of treading water in sweatpants and a sweatshirt, swim laps, and put on a life vest while in the water.

If a rower has access to a certified lifeguard, they may have the test administered independently by completing this form.

If a rower is not able to attend a swim test, or joins the team after the fall season, their parent/guardian can sign a swim waiver.
