The North Allegheny Indoor Rowing Championships, February 24, 2018

The Pine-Richland Crew Team participated in the NA Indoor Rowing Championships held at Marshall Middle School.  Junior Rainier Spears won the Gold in the Men's Lightweight Division.  He placed 1st out of 19 competitiors.  Freshman Savanna Foote won the Bronze in the Women's Novice Division.  She placed 3rd of 36 competitors.

 

The Pittsburgh Indoor Sprints, January 27, 2018

The Pine-Richland Crew Team participated in the Pittsburgh Indoor Sprints held at Carnegie Mellon Universtiy.  Junior Rainier Spears won the bronze in the Men's Lightweight Division.  He placed 3rd out of 24 competitiors.  

 

Crew Hosts Final Competition of Season, October 28, 2017

The Pine-Richland Crew team hosted Mt. Lebanon and Fox Chapel on October 28, 2017, in the final race of their fall season. The teams competed in a series of 2,000 meter sprint races. The Rams opened the day with a victory in the Men's Varsity Eight featuring a lineup of stroke seat Chris Oberst, Steven Delligatti, Tyler Hepler, Michael Peck, Chris Catalano, Parker Zvejnieks, Lucas Zwastezky, bow seat Rainier Spears, and coxswain Ryan Farbacher.

The Men's Varsity Four placed first of six boats and finished the fall season undefeated. The lineup featured stroke seat Chris Oberst, Steven Delligatti, Tyler Hepler, bow seat Michael Peck, and coxswain Ryan Farbacher.

Pine-Richland placed second in the Women's Varsity Four and was victorious in both the Men's and Women's Novice Fours.

The girls 8 received a special invitation to a final race organized by Oakland/Central Catholic on November 11, 2017.

 

Crew Hosts Successful Competition, October 21, 2017

The Pine-Richland High School Crew Team had a successful competition on October 21, 2017. The team hosted North Allegheny, Mt. Lebanon, Peters Township, and Hampton.  The Rams swept the Women's categories, winning the Women's Varsity Four, with a lineup of Grace Crankovic, Kristen Vigna, Vivian Chan, Ashley Moreland, and coxswain Alex Catalano. 

For the first time in school history, the Rams won the Women's Varsity Eight with a lineup of Grace Crankovic, Kristen Vigna, Savannah Foote, Savanna Ungor, Olivia Miller, Ashley Moreland, Vivian Chan, Shana Peck, and coxswain Alex Catalano. Pine-Richland also won the Women's Novice Eight and Women's Novice Four categories.  

The Men's Varsity Four lineup of Chris Oberst, Steven Delligatti, Tyler Hepler, Michael Peck, and coxswain Ryan Farbacher remained undefeated on the season. The Rams placed second in the Men's Varsity Eight and Men's Novice Four.

 

Crew Places First in the Head of the Ohio, October 7, 2017

The Pine-Richland Crew Team competed against 27 high schools and clubs at the Head of the Ohio Regatta in Pittsburgh October 7-8, 2017. The Rams won first place in the Men's Varsity Four with a lineup of Christian Oberst, Steven Delligatti, Tyler Hepler, Michael Peck, and coxswain Ryan Farbacher.

The Rams captured gold medals in the Men's Novice Four and Men's Novice  Eight categories, as well. The lineups consisted of Lucas Zwastetzky, Rainier Spears, Thomas Catalano, Ethan Crowell, Hunter Cromer, Ryan Farbacher, Chris Catalano, Marc Boczar, and coxswain Tyler Hepler.

Pine-Richland also placed second in the Women's Scholastic Novice Four with a lineup of Savannah Ungor, Savannah Foote, Olivia Miller, Shana Peck, and coxswain Alex Catalano.
